There's a reason this work found me.

I spent nearly three decades building a career that rarely followed a straight line. Military service. A long arc through marketing and enterprise technology. Leadership roles that kept expanding in ways I didn't always anticipate. And through all of it, I was navigating the same questions my clients bring to me now, about direction, about what I was building toward, and whether the life I was creating actually matched the one I wanted.

What I didn't understand for a long time was how much of my own thinking was working against me. Not dramatically, just quietly, in the background, shaping decisions and dimming possibilities in ways I couldn't see. It wasn't until I did my own work, therapy to heal past hurts and coaching to understand how those patterns were showing up in my everyday life, that things genuinely shifted. The clarity I've found through that ongoing work is exactly what I want to help others access.

MY EXPERIENCE

What I bring to this work is perspective that comes from genuinely varied experience. I've led teams, navigated organizational politics, worked with senior leaders across demanding industries, and made my own significant career pivots. I've also been married for 25 years and am watching my son take his first steps into adulthood. The full picture of a demanding life, professionally and personally, is terrain I know well.

MY COACHING APPROACH

Leadership is a practice

Leadership isn't a destination you reach and then maintain. It's something you practice, refine, and grow into over time, through every decision, transition, and season of life.

My coaching is built on that belief. I don't come to our conversations with a prescribed roadmap or a set of answers. I come with questions, deep listening, and genuine curiosity about what's true for you right now.

Together we create the space for you to think more clearly, challenge the assumptions that may be quietly limiting you, and reconnect with your own judgment.

The clarity that emerges from that kind of conversation is yours. And so is the confidence to act on it.

"I don't know if self-doubt is a normal part of career transitioning, but it sure was for me. Abi did a great job of helping me see and realize my worth."
